Papargyriou Winery Blanc 75cl

Our most popular wine, a blend from the Muscat and Assyrtiko grapes, grown at 850m., at Sofiana, Corinthia. The nose is dominated by Muscat, whereas the palate combines the fruitiness of Muscat and the body and structure of the Assyrtiko. Drink it with salads, white meat, fish or oysters at 9-11°C.

Papargyriou Winery Le Roi Des Montagnes Assyrtiko 75cl

From a single vineyard at an altitude of 850 meters in Sofiana, Corinth this great Assyrtiko. It ferments and matures in 500-liter French oak barrels for nine months.Mellow peaches,apricots, honey, orange peel,lemon and bergamot in the nose.The barrel is almost imperceptible, giving notes of vanilla and butter caramel. A gastronomical wine with intense personality to accompany pork-based dishes,duck,turkey, fish or mature cheeses.

Papargyriou Winery Le Vigneron Grec White 75cl

Golden color of an Assyrtiko that was fermented for 10 days with its marc, but also Muscat marc, and was aged for about seven months in barrels of 500 liters. Aromas of apricot jam, peach, orange peel and some muscat notes. Full and exuberant mouth feel with rich tannins that evolves over time. Long lasting aftertaste. Food-Cooking Style Fish and seafood, meat with lemon sauces, pasta and white cheeses. Serve Temp 12 - 14 °C Can be long aged

Papargyriou Winery The Black Daphne 75cl

Mavrodaphne is a Greek grape that is, by dictum allowed to be made only into a sweet wine. While this style has its followers, there are mavericks who discovered that this grape can make an excellent dry red wine. Yannis Papargyriou's The Black Daphne is a convincing statement to promote dry Mavrodaphne This is a rich, dark red wine with notes of plums, cherries, coffee, chocolate, cedar and leather with undertones of Greek mountain herbs and brush. The wine finishes long with a sweet balsamic and cigar notes. Well integrated tannin's. This is a wine that will delight you now, but another 5 years in the cellar won't hurt.
