“Wild ferments” provide a deep, red colour, almost impenetrable. Complex aromas of black fruit, violet, chocolate and spices tie harmoniously with oak aromas. Solid and rich for the mouth, lusty with velvety tannins. Long and sweet after-taste.
From the selected, private “Petri” vineyard in the Vrinioti winery, located in Yaltra village in Edipsos, North Evia. Total area of 4,000 square meters.
Sandy soil with many pebbles, with north east slope gradient 18% and an altitude of 400 meters.
Vinification - Maturation
Spontaneous fermentation inception with the grape’s native yeasts, in open type tanks, to achieve absolute expression of terroir. Ageing in French oak barrels of 225 lt for 12 months.
Enjoy it now or age it in appropriate preservation conditions for at least 12-15 years from its distribution.
